2015 Travel Wishlist - Travel Linkup

We can't quite believe it - this January linkup post will mark a whole year of amazing stories, beautiful images and fantastic bloggers all joining in this wee linkup.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

We thought we would usher in the New Year with thoughts of adventure, exploration and amazing new horizons; Travel wishlists for the year ahead. As this is published I'll be starting the year off in my home country New Zealand; hopefully settled comfortably on a sofa with my Brother and new Nephew. They say that the first hour you spend in a year will auger the rest (in 2013 it began on the Southbank, and 2012 we were drinking celebratory Sake in Japan) so mine will hopefully be with full of friends, family and adventuring (with a flat white hopefully clutched in my hand at some point). 


2014 was simply an incredible year - we saw the Northern Lights Dance in Norway, ate Brownies in Amsterdam, sampled genuine Belgian chocolate, kissed the Blarney Stone, explored London Lavender fields and felt the sun warm our bones on the English seaside. Not too shabby really.

As we're already planning on another trip to the other side of the world in 2015 for a huge family Christmas, tiki-touring through the South Island and eating a few pies; the rest of our trips are likely to be shorter-haul, longish weekends. We'll see what we manage to pull out of the hat!

    Bring on the 2015 travels...so much to see and do! Can't wait to make giant sandcastles in Abu Dhabi, can't wait to get January out of the way so I can make sooooo many plans xx

    Aw I'm definitely wishing to head to Cornwall and Greece as well in 2015! There are so many things I am hoping to do! I now have a stable job and salary so I want to plan so many different kind of escapes!

    The Highlands are wonderful and you should definitely come back to Scandinavia! Greece has been on my bucket list since forever but I won't make it there this year but maybe I can live vicariously through you then ;)

    Love your ideas - especially the Cornwall one! I can give you chapter and verse on Cornwall if you want it! Just make sure you get the jam on the scone before the cream, or the Cornish will be unimpressed! See you for tea later this month!

    As a raised-in-cornwall gal, if you do get to Marazion, check out Cobble Corner - a run down newsagents we once owned :) and I suggest getting drunk on pimms and sneaking over in the dead of night!

    I enjoyed our little trip to St Michael's Mount- for the novelty aspect, I think it's worth walking across in low tide! Then cruise around all the other little towns in Cornwall, they're lovely!
